2021 Mercedes-Benz EQS confirmed for April
#1
Information

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz EQS will make its full debut in April 2021, the brand has confirmed.

An image was distributed by Mercedes-Benz alongside the confirmation, showing one of the production prototypes that hit European roads this week as part of the EQS' final stage of testing.

Overview
While the vehicle's front and rear fascias are obscured by camouflage, the exposed side profile confirms the production EQS will be directly inspired by the Vision EQS concept of 2019, sharing toned-down versions of its cab-forward styling and flowing coupe-like roofline.
Sharp LED lighting units feature front and rear, with the former integrated into a closed-off grille section that has come to serve as the Mercedes-Benz EQ sub-brand's common styling trait between all of its models.
Inside, a tri-screen, 1410mm-wide MBUX Hyperscreen digital interface will dominate (or rather, make up) the dashboard, while under the skin a range of electric powertrains offering up to 700km of range are expected to feature.
Stay tuned to Drive for all the latest 2021 Mercedes-Benz EQS news as its full reveal approaches next month (April).
