Did not reset my accelerator pedal position sensor and didn't recognize my vehicle
#1

Hello,
I connected to this app through bluetooth on my OBD2 port in my 2020 Genesis G70 and the throttle app thought I was in a BMW. Also did not change my thottle sensitivity back to stock. It is the same as before. I did everything correctly I turned the dash lights on and connected and went through the process of resetting the thottle. Can somebody please help me figure out why it didn't work. Also why it thought I was in a BMW.

Thank you

Hi, Did the throttle reset process finish successfully ?
use "Throttle Reset" Function not BMW function ,  we check through the process which car model so no need to worry if you had selected BMW function Smile , we will fix that soon.

Thank you for the quick response. I connected my obd2 scanner to the throttle app and then it automatically selected BMW as my vehicle even though it's a Genesis and I tried to restart the app. But it wouldn't select my Genesis G70. So, I decided to just go through with the thottle reset process and it
did finish the reset process. But nothing changed as far as throttle sensitivity. My throttle sensitivity won't go back to stock. I was told this app will reset accelerator pedal position sensor voltage back to stock settings. Did I do something wrong? Does not having correct vehicle selected effect how the app works.

Thank you again for your help

You're welcome Smile
We internally do check for vehicle model, so if process is completed successfully then there should be no problem, and if the problem still exist then there should be a problem with throttle position sensor , I strongly suggest to go to dealership or mechanic so they can check it.

I informed our team about that case, and they will check and if we have any updates we will update application on Google Play store.

Hi,
The Process didn't seem to be completed successfully!
Can you send me picture of which adapter are using + send me screenshot of ELM327 Identifier so I can check if all PIDs are compatible!
~Have a nice day
