MAP - Mass or Volume Air Flow Correlation

The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor signal. The ECM sets the OBDII code when there is a signal correlation problem between the engine computer and MAF or MAP sensor.

Cause:
Faulty MAF or MAP sensor
MAF or MAP sensor harness is open or shorted
MAF or MAP sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
