Diesel Intake Air Flow Control Stuck Closed

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the volume air flow to the engine intake controlled by the Intake Air Flow Control Valve on the throttle body. The PCM sets the OBDII code when the Intake Airflow Control Valve is out of factory specifications.

Cause:
Faulty Throttle Body Assembly
Throttle Body Assembly harness is open or shorted
Throttle Body Assembly circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Symptoms:
Check engine light
