Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) compares the actual torque signal computed from an air flow sensor signal with the driver demand torque signal computed from an accelerator pedal position sensor signal. The PCM sets the OBDII code when the computed values are not to factory specifications.
Cause:
Faulty Throttle Valve Control Servo
Throttle Valve Control Servo harness open or shorted
Throttle Valve Control Servo circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
There is some foreign matter around air flow sensor
Software incompatibility issue
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
Symptoms:
Check engine light
