Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit/Open

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) continuously monitor the Intake Manifold Tuning Valve (IMTV) system during Key ON engine OFF or key ON engine running self-test. The PCM sets the OBDII code when the signal on is more or less than the expected calibrated range.

Cause:
Faulty Intake Manifold Tuning Valve (IMTV)
Intake Manifold Tuning Valve harness is open or shorted
Intake Manifold Tuning Valve circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
