Fan 1 Control Circuit Low

The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit. The ECM sets the OBDII code when the Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit is not to the factory specifications.

Cause:
Faulty Fan 1 Relay
Fan 1 Relay harness is open or shorted
Fan 1 Relay circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Fan 1
Fan 1 harness is open or shorted
Fan 1 circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

Symptoms:
Check engine light
Radiator fan inoperative
Possible engine overheating
