Transmission Control System MIL Request Circuit/Open

The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the Transmission Control Module MIL Request Circuit. The TCM sets the OBDII code when the Transmission Control Module MIL Request Circuit is not to factory specifications.

Cause:
Faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Transmission Control Module (TCM) harness is open or shorted
Transmission Control Module (TCM) circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
