Gear Shift Lock Solenoid/Actuator Control Circuit (A) Low

The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the Gear Shift Lock Solenoid. The TCM sets the OBDII code when the Gear Shift Lock Solenoid is not to factory specifications.

Cause:
Faulty Gear Shift Lock Solenoid
Gear Shift Lock Solenoid harness is open or shorted
Gear Shift Lock Solenoid circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
