Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) module input for expected NVLD ambient temperature sensor values. The P2026 code sets when the input is outside a calibrated set of limits.

Cause:
Faulty Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) module
Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) module harness is open or shorted
Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) module circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
