Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor (A) Minimum Stop Performance

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the electronic throttle for the ability of the throttle plate to reach the lower mechanical stop position within a calibrated amount of time at ignition ON. The P2109 code sets if the throttle plate does not reach the lower mechanical stop position within a calibrated amount of time.

Cause:
Obstruction in the throttle plate movement
Faulty Electronic Throttle Body (ETB)
