Water in Fuel Sensor Circuit Low

The Fuel Sensor detects fuel (ethanol) contamination and provides the Engine Control Module (ECM) with a fuel temperature. The ECM monitors the water in fuel circuit and has detected the return voltage to be above or below threshold limits for the sensor.

Cause:
Fuel contamination
Fuel filter
Faulty Fuel Sensor
Fuel Sensor harness is open or shorted
Fuel Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
