Engine Hood Switch Circuit High

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the Engine Hood Switch Circuit signal. The PCM sets the OBDII code when the Engine Hood Switch signal is out of factory specifications.

Cause:
Faulty Engine Hood Switch
Engine Hood Switch harness is open or shorted
Engine Hood Switch circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
