Coolant Degassing Valve Control Circuit/Open

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the Coolant Degassing Valve Control Circuit. The PCM sets the OBDII code when the Coolant Degassing Valve Control Circuit is out of factory specifications.

Cause:
Faulty Coolant Degassing Valve
Coolant Degassing Valve harness is open or shorted
Coolant Degassing Valve circuit poor electrical connection

Symptoms:
Check engine light
